Since 40’s the Company has grown and developed 5 business lines such as telecom sites construction and installation, equipment installation and commissioning, power system renewable energies, fix and fiber optic networks and managed services, maintenance and operations.
Job Function
To support our quick business lines expansion of clients and geographic representation we need a logistics specialist to ensure the coordination of import-export related activities. The logistics specialist will be in charge with finding the optimal alternative of transporting, delivering and stocking our products (towers, solar power components, hybrid power genset, s.a.) dedicated to the telecom industry.
Reporting directly to the Logistics Manager the candidate will be exposed to a fast-paced environment and will act on behalf of the international group, not only the local branch of business.
Tasks
• Analyzing the purchase orders and organizing them
• Opening a logistic file for any import, export operation in the ERP system
• Concluding contacts with the store/warehouse, carriers, transiting homologues
• Asking for rate studies to carriers or transiting homologues
• Preparing the necessary documents and authorizations, based on the nature of operation (i.e.: certificate of free circulation, declaration on dangerous materials, issue of import license, etc.)
• Submitting the transportation orders and the documents afferent to the operation (invoice, packing list, etc)
• Managing the customs documents, checking the rights (in terms of Incoterm), managing the files (transit, import/export)
Requirements
• BS or MS recommended in external commerce
• Mandatory 1-3 years of experience in a similar position
• Knowledge of logistic process (flow management, stock management) and of the indicators of logistic performance
• Knowledge of the range of members of logistic chain (suppliers, carriers, logistic platforms) and of the contractual relations with such members
• Good knowledge of purchase methodologies and of the stages of purchase process
• Knowledge of international contracts (Incoterms)
• Knowledge of customs legislation specific to every country (preferable for Asia&Africa)
• Knowledge of transit regime : communitarian transit, international transit
• Knowledge of English; French language would be a plus
